In celebration of Mother’s Day, SH Medical Centre (SHMC)
organized a free breast screening programme for the women of Lourde Church, Kottayam,
under the Mother’s Care initiative from the Matrjyothi Unit.
The event saw 35 participants attend a comprehensive awareness and screening session. The
programme began with an informative session on breast health, early detection, self-
examination techniques, and preventive care, followed by personalized screening and
guidance from SHMC’s qualified medical staff.
This initiative highlights SHMC’s commitment to women’s health and well-being,
empowering mothers with the knowledge, care, and support they need while celebrating the
essence of Mother’s Day.
