Recognizing the growing healthcare needs of the rural folk of the Kumarakom and to ensure accessible, affordable and high-quality medical care for the local community, SHMC took a significant step by inaugurating a sub-centre at Pallichira on 11th February 2021.

The facility offers a range of services, including both outpatient (OP) and inpatient (IP) care, allowing patients to receive comprehensive treatment close to home. It is staffed by a dedicated team of skilled and compassionate doctors committed to delivering exceptional care.

Beyond primary healthcare, the sub-centre is equipped with essential support services such as doctor consultation, diagnostic laboratory, fully stocked pharmacy, and specialized palliative care for individuals living with chronic illnesses.

In line with its enduring commitment to serving the community and enhancing access to healthcare, we inaugurated SHMC Clinic, velloor Pampady on 29th December 2025, to provide accessible, affordable, and high-quality medical care to the local population.

The clinic offers a range of healthcare services, including both outpatient (OP) and inpatient (IP) care, enabling patients to receive comprehensive treatment close to home. The facility is supported by a dedicated team of skilled and compassionate doctors committed to delivering quality medical care.

In addition to primary healthcare services, the clinic is equipped with essential support facilities such as doctor consultations, a diagnostic laboratory, X- Ray and a fully stocked pharmacy.

At SH Medical Centre, our Child Development Day Care Unit supports the overall growth of children aged 2 to 6 through structured programs and engaging activities. Open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the unit focuses on enhancing both mental and physical development in a nurturing environment. Our programs improve attention span, concentration, language skills, and social interaction through preschool learning and guided play.

In addition, we emphasize social development through peer group activities that encourage interaction, relationship building, and essential social skills in a warm, supportive setting.
