On 2 March 2026, the St. Mother Teresa Memorial Excellence Award Ceremony, organized
by the Catholic Federation of India, was held at 10:30 AM at Girideepam Bethany HSS
Auditorium, Kalathipady, Kottayam. The event marked the 1st Annual Mother Teresa
Memorial Excellence Awards, accompanied by a commemorative address celebrating the
legacy of St. Teresa of Calcutta.
During this prestigious function, SH Medical Centre received special recognition for its
contributions to the healthcare sector. On behalf of the institution, Director Sr. Jeena Rose SH
and Senior Consultant Dr. Mathew K. Puthiyidom, Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement
Surgeon, were honoured with the Excellence Award in Healthcare for their dedicated service
and outstanding contributions to the field of healthcare.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. C. V. Ananda Bose, Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, who
attended as the Chief Guest. The Guest of Honour was Shri V. N. Vasavan, Hon’ble Minister
for Cooperation, Ports & Devaswom, Government of Kerala.

The recognition marked a proud and memorable milestone for SH Medical Centre,
highlighting the institution’s continued commitment to delivering quality healthcare services
and excellence in patient care.
