On 1 March 2026, a Breast Screening Awareness Program organized under SH Sakhi was
successfully conducted at SH Medical Centre. The initiative was carried out with the active
participation of doctors from the Indian Dental Association (IDA).
The primary objective of the program was to create awareness about breast health, highlight the
importance of early detection, and encourage regular screening among women. The camp
witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 40 members taking part in the screening programme.

The event was held from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and was well coordinated throughout the day.
Participants were educated about the signs and symptoms of breast-related conditions, the
importance of self-examination, and the need for timely medical consultation.
Dr. Reji Paul from Snehita Foundation conducted the breast screening and provided valuable
guidance to the participants. The programme proved to be both informative and impactful,
contributing significantly to spreading awareness and promoting preventive healthcare
within the community.
