On 21 February 2026, SH Medical Centre organized a Free Breast Screening Programme
under the SH SAKHI Screening Programme in collaboration with the Ekabal Library and
Reading Room, Thazhathangadi. The camp began at 9:00 AM and aimed to promote
awareness and early detection of breast health issues among women in the community.
The programme witnessed the participation of 25 members from the local community. The
session was led by Dr. Reji Paul from Snehitha Foundation, Dr. Jisha T.U., along with
members of the SH Medical Centre team, who provided guidance, screening, and awareness on
breast health and preventive care.
In addition to the community programme, SH Medical Centre also conducted an internal
screening camp for 45 staff members, highlighting the institution’s commitment to both
community welfare and the health and well-being of its employees.
The programme received a positive response from participants and reaffirmed SH Medical
Centre’s dedication to promoting women’s health, awareness, and preventive healthcare
initiatives.
