World Cancer Day was observed on February 4, 2026, with a cancer awareness programme organized in collaboration with TCN Tiruhuday College of Nursing. The event aimed to highlight the importance of cancer prevention, early detection, and public awareness.

Dr. Neeraja Suresh Consultant Clinical Oncologist delivered the Day Message, emphasizing the need for timely screening and healthy lifestyle practices. The keynote address was presented by Sr. Annie Tom, Manager Supportive Services while the felicitation was done by Dr. Kurian Xavier Medical Supertiendent.

As part of the programme, TCN students and interns presented a role play and a flash mob to creatively convey messages on cancer awareness and early detection. The programme witnessed active participation and received a positive response from the audience, concluding successfully.
