In connection with World Mental Health Day, SH Medical Centre organized an awareness session at BCM College on , titled “Own Your Mind.”

The session was led by Dr. Jitty George, Consultant Psychiatrist at SH Medical Centre, who spoke on the importance of mental well-being, early identification of mental health issues, and the need to break the stigma surrounding mental illness.

Students and staff actively participated in the interactive session, engaging in open discussions that promoted understanding and empathy. The programme was well-received and served as a meaningful initiative to foster mental health awareness and create a supportive environment within the college community.
