As part of its commitment to promoting youth wellness and preventive health education, SH Medical Centre (SHMC) conducted an Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign at St. Joseph School, Kottayam, on September 16, 2025.

The campaign was led by Dr. Kevin Mathew Thomas, Resident Medical Officer at SHMC, and focused on the theme “Health Wins Over Drugs.” The session aimed to educate students on the physical, psychological, and social consequences of drug use.

Through interactive discussions and real-life examples, the campaign encouraged students to make informed, healthy choices and resist peer pressure. The event was well-received by both students and faculty, highlighting the importance of early awareness in preventing substance abuse.
