As part of its World Heart Day observance, SH Medical Centre (SHMC) launched a meaningful community outreach initiative by distributing First Aid Kits to fire force professionals. The effort aimed to honor and support the vital role of these first responders in emergency care and public safety.
Each kit, thoughtfully assembled with essential medical supplies, is designed to empower fire force personnel to deliver immediate care during critical incidents. The distribution reflects SHMC’s continued commitment to heart health, emergency preparedness, and community well-being.
Representing SH Medical Centre at the event were senior members of the hospital:
- Sr. Frances, Joint Director
- Sr. Litty Abraham, Assistant Director
- Sr. Jaisy Liz, Manager – Operations Nursing
In a brief ceremony, both fire force officers and hospital representatives shared their perspectives, emphasizing the importance of emergency response readiness and collaborative efforts in saving lives. The event also served as a platform to highlight the shared mission of healthcare and emergency services in safeguarding the community.
This initiative further strengthens SHMC’s outreach efforts, reaffirming its role not only as a healthcare provider but as a proactive partner in promoting public health, safety, and preventive care.
