Benefactor Day 2025 was celebrated at SH Medical Centre with reverence and gratitude. The day began with a Holy Mass (Suriani) led by Rev. Fr. Varghese Mattathil at 4:45 PM.

Followed by a public meeting at 6:30 PM. Meeting started with a prayer dance, followed by a welcome address from Rev. Sr. Jeena Rose SH (Director), who thanked dignitaries for their presence and support.

Rev. Mother Sr. Usha Maria SH, Superior General, delivered the Benedictory Speech, emphasizing SHMC’s commitment to compassionate care rooted in the mercy of Sacred Heart of Jesus.

A cake-cutting ceremony marked the celebrations.

Sri Roshy Augustine, Hon’ble Minister for Water Resources, inaugurated the MRI Unit and lauded SHMC’s medical excellence. Sri K. Francis George, MP, inaugurated the documentary showcasing the hospital’s growth.

Sri Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, MLA, opened the renovated Labour Room, while Rev. Fr. Dr. Mani Puthiyidam launched the hospital website, praising SHMC’s high standards in healthcare.

The redesigned frontage was unveiled by Rev. Sr. Catherine Nedumpuram SH, Provincial Superior. The Chronicle, covering six years of milestones, was released by Rev. Fr. Jacob Vattakattu, Vicar,Lourdes Forane Church, and received by Sr. Little Flower SH. Sr. Catherine Nedumpuram SH also launched the hospital’s five-year vision plan, “Sparsham.”

Sri B. Gopakumar, Municipal Vice Chairman, offered final felicitations.

The evening ended with cultural performances, the SHMC Anthem, and a communal meal, marking a memorable and visionary Benefactor Day 2025
