The Trauma care & Emergency is managed by the team of trained and experienced Doctors, Paramedics and Nurses, who are capable of handling all types of emergencies. The centre is designed to create a comfortable and calming ambiance; the beds in the treatment area are well separated and curtained to protect the privacy of patients and their families. The Emergency Department has a Triage Area which ensures that the most critically ill patient gets medical attention on priority, without delay. Moreover, the unit also has a 24-hour Pharmacy to ensure the availability of medicine at all times.
Transformation in to a well -planned well- constructed department, with trained personnel and state- of – the- art equipment occurred on October2015.Since then ,the obsolete “casualty” has metamorphosed in to an Emergency Medicine Department, which practices cotemporary evidence-based emergency medicine, bothin training and patient care.
